What I do not understand about this incident is what did this lady do when she was refused service... had she already got the purchases on the belt ? Did she move to another till ? Did they get another check out operator to serve her ? Or did she just walk away leaving everything ? All this must have shown up on their cameras ..

Perhaps I have missed this somewhere ?

I feel there is some sort of truth in it .. perhaps just a remark ?

What actually happens in the supermarket and what people say happened later are often completely different.

Please remember that the people working in the supermarket are ordinary folk just like yourselves, people from your own community who just need a job, they are often overworked, underpaid ill appreciated & treated like crap.

They get treated like something you wipe off the bottom of your shoe by customers who dont give an ounce of consideration for the fact that the poor checkout staff are simply doing a job and have been told (nay forced) to follow stupid rules etc just because the supermarket bosses etc have told them to do so.

My wife works in a supermarket & often comes home in tears because of the way she has been treated, she can be pleasant, considerate & give good customer service but there are many "customers" who revel in not only complaining but being arrogant, abusive & insulting (as well as lying through their teeth) just so they can get goods for free or reduced.
Working in a supermarket means that you have to put up with being treated like $h1t by both the company & the customers.

Many of them were appalled at this allegation & were prepared to protest themselves.

So please, bear this in mind when your calling the people at the supermarket, chances are they are actually your neighbours & not senseless morons developed on aisle 6!

Why would this incident be more correct than this thread.Both have been reported in newspapers as correct.

Am I anti English or anti white?..I'll say this is only the second time in 20yrs I've heard a comment aimed at me similar to that.. it was in a chinese takeaway in East London which resulted in something I lived to regret and the answer is a definite NO.

I know Shill .. 'tis always happening. At first, wondered if it was a little Freudian and this is the way people perceived me, until I realised 'L' was next to 'K' on the keyboard ... so guess just a typing error.

Still would like to know what the customer did though ?

I was actually chatting to one of the check out ladies the other week (have you noticed how they have got more like this ?) .. she did say that Asda looked after their staff, and were very good to them. There will always be ignorant customers though .. just have to bite your lip and get on with it .. bet your wife comes home with it swollen many times Mattylad.
