Now compare with Baxenden, how many pubs were there in Bash that have closed down? I'm not aware of any.

Is it just that Bashers are a bunch of drunken bums? :D

as i did the Dog @Partrigde for 6 yrs n Alma for 2 i would say YES:D but think its more to do with the number of Asians who live in Accy, cos most of em dont drink.;)

Ossy only has a fraction to what it used to have (34 in all ) i think from the black dog to the commercial.

Good local pubs were the only saving grace for the poor souls living there.

cashman must lnow my older brother he was landlord at the dog and partridge baxenden for two years and went to live in a house for a while facing the alma when he came out the pub

he was not the landlord for the 6 yrs i worked there keith, was kev n june, but i lived on Bamford Crescent for a while n bash was my haunt at the time, so could well do? many know me but i can never remember em all.;)
