We had all these places we could go, yet the ones that have grown up after us, have fewer outlets but are called binge drinkers.
We didn't need taxis back then, we could fall out of one drinking hole straight into another.

Also the Tanpits pub just around the corner - the only beer house I knew.

Not really keith, yeh clocked out in 64, I didn't know it was when i was a young un, was only when i lived in Church in early 70s i found out.;)One club long gone no-one seems to have mentioned,was the Salubrious "Central Club" in accy centre, spent many n happy hour in yon.

Wasn't that tiny pub on Abbey Street a beer house Barrie, twas on the left had side looking towards Hassy, was only the width of a normal house, can't think what it was called though:confused:
