bernadette - last time we went to Black Horse they were supposedly serving into the evening - it was 3:30 and they had stopped serving food - that is where we were originally going when we ended up at the chippy - The Warner arms had a board outside saying they served food until 6pm but then said they had shut the kitchen as they only serve until 2:30.
And I would rather take the girls somewhere like the Calder to be honest.

They feel grown up and get excited when I say we are going out for a meal - last time we went around most places in town and ended up at the flippin chippy - they are 10 and 11 and are lovely young ladies such a shame really.
Why don't you take them to a restaurant as opposed to a pub?

Last time we went for a meal as a family we went to Quattros in Accy.

They open early in the evening which is good when you're taking children and the children were made very welcome. :)

yeah probably would next time - there wasnt any quattros when we went for meal last time and even papa luigis or what ever it was then was shut down - it was daft - felt like we were in some strange horror movie where all eateries where shut and taken over by zombies
