Used to use at least twice a week but then it had a bit of a refit and the food wasn't as good , plus it was getting a bit expensive.

well on the Food Subject we now do a wrap or sandwich and a drink for £3.95 and with a new chef and so new systems, the food is looking far better, and introducing a 20 % loyalty Card ..... coming in next few weeks

If I am in town with my well behaved 12 year old we use the Black Horse, think that's where it makes it's money over the Calder.

I don't go in the Calder much because we're not going out much at the moment due to money being tight. :(

Decent people with well behaved children seem to be offended when I say I agree with the no children policy.....however, I don't think the rule was made because of these people.

The rule was made to keep out those who go in at lunch time with their children and are still there at 5pm as drunk as skunks whilst the children roam around bored and unchecked. :(

It is not the children who are the problem, it is the parents letting them do as they please:( If you are serious about letting children in the staff are going to have to be up to confronting parents of the badly behaved ones:)

It is the children and the parents who cause the problem.

This is why the current rule is great....it keeps both out. :mosher:

I agree with you when you say that if they are going to start letting people take children in they will have to be ready to take a very tough stance with the all-dayers. :(

Personally, I'd rather eat them outside. They taste much better in the fresh air, especially with salt and vinegar.
