I think I should take umbridge at that, Clayton leads the way in anoraks, shell suits and hoodies

I might be being a bit pickey here but they were geese not ducks, and as we know thats a whole new kettle of fish, or ducks, or geese.

Whilst we were distracted it has moved closer to Church, and moved to the other side of the canal. People of Church brace yourselves, your end is in sight, so pull your pants up and get ready. Light the beacons to warn the others, man the barracades.....................................I think I might have overstated the problem, but just remember I told you so.

Dark forces are at work here, we have been moved from General Chat to Anything goes.

This does not mean you can start swearing either, but we should ask why after 426 posts yes thats 426 posts have we been moved.

Could it be we were getting close to the truth about the forces at work along the canal, this move came as soon as we discussed geese and penguins, and advancing on Church.

The indiscriminate discharging of firearms sounds a little too American ... and, from what I remember, the good folks of Hyndburn are not the gun toting type. Just in case, it might be worthwhile checking to see if fire extinguishers are in season. Bag limit is not an issue, as there seems to be only one of them. It might also be worthwhile checking, Councillor Moss could help out here, to see if one needs a licence. I could be persuaded to drop over with my Wingmaster, and blow the sucker out of the water ... as long as I'm sure that all is above board. If there is any collateral damage ... as in ducks getting blown away ... it would help if someone with taste selects an appropriate wine with which to wash down said collateral damage.

This move to the other side of the canal came as soon as it was photographed in the presence of humans (Restless, I am saying nothing more, you can make your own jokes up here, I think hes ok.), it went out of reach and commenced its final approach on Church. You have all been warned , BRACE, BRACE, BRACE,

No doubt the confusion arises because the event took place in the antipodes, and was reported in the "Mail".

John, will leave that as your job, get him to report to the canal wearing an ARP hat and if he has a gas mask case, tell him to put up a flask and some bloater paste sandwiches as he could be there for a while

No I think you are wrong there, it wasn't in the antipodes or any other type of boat, and I don't think it was in the mail as I never got a letter

Anything remotely 'conspiratorial' gets moved.

A conspiracy is only a theory (most of the time;)).

However, unless it is allowed to be discussed, facts to support it aren't likely to emerge.

The only successful conspiracies are those you know nothing about, nobody has heard of the chickens lips conspiracy.............point proved I think.
