Sweet peas are my favourites too - the scent is so lovely, and the colours. They don't need dressing up in a vase - just plonk them in and they look great - and the more you pick them the more they come, and they are so cottagey in the garden. Wonderful!

A couple of days ago, I was trying to work in my pottery studio. Road construction outside was getting annoying, so I went for a little walk down in the park. I took my camera, and these pics resulted. Even though they're not from the Accy area, I thought you might like to see where I live now - the outskirts of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

2. Queen Ann's Lace - at first I thought the red bit in the centre was a bug, but closer inspection revealed it to be red petals. All the flowers in this patch had that, I don't know if it's unusual or not.

4. Going towards the river, dodging the noisy grass cutters and their gigantic machines.

7. The Credit River - a little muddier and running faster than it normally does this time of year. Due to the heavy rains of the past week, I think. Got my feet wet for this one! (inspired by dave mac)

8. They looked pinker in real life.

9.Looking back to where I'd come from.
