Today in Pictures, I spent all day transferring emulsion paint from a tin to a few walls, so didn't go out until the sun was going down, so here is Cutwood Park, looking over the res as the sun was going down. The period is about 10 minutes.

Apart from watering it the garden cannot be credited to me.
June planned it with a local gardener and over the two years since the house was built it has started to mature. I keep the gardener on and she comes every two weeks. I always feel sad when I look at it. As for a self portrait Dianne, this is the best I can do, a bit of artistic licence is needed. Taken about 1961 at a nuddy beach near Poole. She refused to let me take one of her. We were engaged at the time, why she threw the ring back later is another story. |

Today in Pictures. Mill Lane to Martholme Lane, then when I had done that I went from Martholme Lane to Mill Lane.
1. Starting out, looking over to Read. 2. Looking to the side, Hapton Scouts. 3. This had to be crept up upon, Meadow Brown butterfly, before I could get any closer it shot off among the brambles. 4. Looking over the water treatment plant. 5. Back on the path, heading for Martholme Lane. 6.These are soldier Beetles, I don't however think they are fighting. 7. Pendle Hill in the distance. 8. The view from Martholme Lane. 9. We take a right turn as we get to the bridge. 10. Heading back, a seat that has seen very little use. |
