I can see me printing some of these out to use as postcards.
Thank you Jason for pointing me in the right direction....this is one app that I think I am going to be able to get some use out of.

Re: Today in pictures

i take photos for the welfare blind society and lately the hospice at Barnoldswick and if people want them i will print some on magnetic photo paper so they can have them for fridge magnets.
i usually do them about 4 inches by four inches.
i did 6 for Barnoldswick last week and took them this week and the residents were delighted. Now half the staff want them. The girls are great there and as soon as I arrive the cakes and brews come out so its a fair swop. I have made some for people with their pets on, the cat I posted earlier was one.

I couldn't resist posting this photo an old friend sent me.
He was having a bit of lunch during a trip to the Middle East with his lorry many years ago and took pity on the poor little donkey.

Would make a lovely "Clayton-le-moors" postcard -a lot nicer than many official ones they sell!

No problem whatsoever M, I'm glad you like it and are getting some use out of it, I forgot to mention it's also free ;)

Nothing much exciting form me today.
We have some friends who are getting married on Saturday....so tonight I made them a card.
I like doing arty crafty things......and it is much more personal to have a card which has been specially made...or at least those are my feelings.
The deckle edging around the motif in the centre is gold card.

Great sky in number two - you can't mistake Whinney Hill in the center with the lights going up the road...

I took my camera along today to show you where I've been going regularly for the last 2 months as part of my campaign to get generally fitter and healthier, and try to remedy my chronic neck problem. I have been swimming 20 lengths and having 10 minutes hydromassage when I go each time. I swim mostly in the indoor pool as the sun's a bit strong outside at the moment. There is a relaxation area with a Finnish pool to plunge into when you come out of the sauna or Turkish bath (I haven't tried these yet!) Outside there are several pools set in a lovely garden area with a bar. It's called Cremona Sporting Club and it's attached to a Best Western Hotel which is conveniently near us -we can see it across several fields at the back of the farm! When it was still cool enough I walked there and back which took just over 30 mins eah way - only 5 mins in the car - so I'm very lucky to be able to go!

Oooh Dianne, that looks lovely.
I am envious of those facilities. I hope they do your neck good......it looks a very enjoyable way to get fit and healthy.
