We haven't had the right environment for a while for droplets, and yesterday was borderline as well, it was pishing down, my flat cap was overwhelmed, and my waterproofs after a certain point weren't, and apart from the last 15 minutes when my gusset ended up between my knees, I was in my element. As for waxing lyrical, I think the wax should have been applied elsewhere

Never mind the scenery Jen, did you get any photos of the Falkirk wheel or best of all the Grangemouth refinery?
They would bring back memories to me.
The new Forth Bridge construction would make a good subject also.
Maybe next time, just for me, please!

2. Clay pigeon shoot.
3. Swimming dogs.
4. Thistle have to do for now.

Wonderful please post them, I haven't been North for three years and around that area was one of my regular jobs.
I would love to see how they are getting on with the Forth Bridge.

Today in Pictures, recently I have sprung around Spring Wood, been Arty around the Gallery, Mighty as I went around Oak Hill Park, today I was Foxy as I went around Foxhill Bank, I will let you know what happens when I go down to Cock Bridge.

1.Tinker Brook as it tinkles past Foxhill Bank Nature Reserve.
2. Its still tinkling, well I think its the Brook.
3.The bottom end of the area closest to the industrial site that gave the area its name.
4. Heading back to the big wet bit.
5. The bit that is referred to as the lodge.
6. I was wide awake when I took this........Knapweed.
7. Lesser Burdock, when I took this I was unaware of the creepy crawly with the green eyes, but when I looked further they were in large numbers poking their ovipositor into the many sections of the composite flowers.
8. Not be long before clouds of its seeds will be wafting over the population.
9. This area was covered in these Geraniums, a nice blue colour to contrast with the mainly pink jobbies out at the moment.
10. The slightly hidden "top lodge" only visible from one path and only part of it.

Feeling bored so I decided to have a quick drink in the Green Howarth Golf Club where a mate was playing.
I managed a few photos from the car, as usual, while I was there but admit to getting out for a couple of snaps. Nowt special, just passing time away.
No. 2 I should have noticed the photo wanted cropping slightly. I didn't notice the mirror when I took it.

No. 4 They must be camera shy, I kept calling "come on gee gee's look this way".

No. 5 I have lost my bearings, where is the Church please tell?
The shot was taken from Green Howarth and the far distant houses are in Read with Haug, Scott and Lawrence Avenues top right.

No. 6 would that be the playing fields next to the Bowling Club up above Willows Lane?

No, 10 Homeward bound, mate not there so no ale for me until tonight.

Sorry Davemac, not up to your standards because I came home with a dry gusset, I am sure that must help when you take photos.:tongueout
