What software do you have, I'm out now till about 4 o clock but will put it through Lightroom later if you like and see what it looks like after and tell you the changes I made.

Been busy myself g,I had a old version of Lightroom but due to buying a new laptop I'm now software free (apart from windows editing), I've checked the settings and my camera does have a WB setting ("incandescent" being the lowest).

Feel free to run any pics through your software if you've got the time I'd be keen to see what the difference is....thanks :)

here are two from the rejected shots

Well, there is a lot of hair, but also lots of cat. But I do have her on a see-food diet:D Thing is, when Emma showed up on my front porch she was skin and bone, matted fur, and a motel for fleas ... I much prefer her the way she is now.;)

Turns out adjusting white balance on a jpeg isn`t very effective (compared to RAW), so just to show what a difference getting it right can make these are a few old night pics of mine with different settings.

1. Cameras auto WB
2. Custom WB (set with eyedropper in LRoom)
3. A few more adjustments, contrast, clarity, exposure etc.

I agree with Eric. On this cold, snowy typically Canadian winter day, it's best to hunker down and enjoy indoor pursuits - starting by making a fuss of our furry friends. There's a chicken roasting in the oven, Miss Pris is ticked off that I'm not spending enough time with her, (she's looking quite fluffy in the tummy!) and the ongoing hallway renovation is well, ongoing. Stripping off the old wallpaper revealed a Valentines Day message from 20 years ago - don't remember who painted it, me or hubby. It doesn't matter. Last week the thermometer got below minus thirty. it's not that cold right now, thank goodness. Oh I almost forgot, Mr. and Mrs. Goose plant themselves every day at the bottom of my feeder. I'm glad to give them a bit of grub.
Cheers, all!

We parked up on Nuttall Street and there is a sign heralding the work being done as you start off up the old railway. Theres a noticeable improvement to the paths but the winter debris and leaves all needs clearing away.
Came back down Royds Street and then cut left along Hudson Street, I hadn't realised the scope of the work being done to modernise the area. I used to live at #5 Hudson and was surprised to see that and all the other properties have been knocked back to bare shells.
