Did anybody even pop into the Barracuda in Darwen it was near the end of the road to Cranberry Fold, now that was n experience:rolleyes:

Saw Tony Christie performing there in the 70's. It was a bit of a crap-hole. The beer was cheap and plentiful, but it tasted like washing up water!

Hey stumped that,s where I met my wife too. Great place, the Empire, in the late 50s early 60s, we must have bumped into each other somewhere.

suprised no-ones mentioned the "Astoria" up Rawtenstall, not really a club as such, but a top venue in its day. good artists, some great birds, a damn good night.:)
