It's quite alright ladies, everyones entitled to an opinion, whether they're valid or not is a personal view :D Can't comment on the first half, didn't see it just snippets off the radio, but I saw the second half & Napoli weren't exactly Catholic Schoolboys, unless you're referring to an Am-Dram class or swimming lessons there Barrie !

Mancie, Mancie, Mancie (big sigh ) I didn't expect anything less from you, you my friend are beyond redemption, your views on Footie mirror your Political ones, Blinkers ? You've got the whole damned Harness On. Never mind :) Let's see what the w/end brings !

I would like to say I am sorry for all the bad things that I have said in the past about Liverpool - however, I could not tell a lie. So even though they did us a great favour today - the first for many years, I still think they are You Know What.
Wednesday? - well we will see, Que Sera, sera.

Wrong Jay - a home team that plays with one striker? The old Italian way - if the opposition does not score we cannot lose - look at the statistics, and remember that their possession was in their own half.
In addition Rovers weren't too clever and the diabolical attack on Joey Barton's fist by Pederon's six pack was a disgrace.;);):D

just watched the pool game and no surprise West Ham were sh1te.. and before anyone gets it in I watched the Man Utd-Wigan game... Wigan were kicking lumps out of our players in the first half and the first sending off was a result of that.. the second was a two footed tackle but maybe a harsh red card... but then we would have won anyway.

I haven't seen your lot play that well so far this season, and now Fergie has a new way of influencing results ( hey ref we're not playing too well this season, how about a little more extra time at the end if were behind or saving that cut the opposition down by a couple, preferably defenders, we'll see you right;)) That should help out a bit thank you:D:D

Oh Boy, we do need to keep a watch our backs now - not just for the threat of the scousers (I mean the football team), but now Rovers are putting in a bid for the Premiership.

I'm not a supporter of any side in the Premiership Barrie , Stanley fan of course. But the premiership does seem like it could more interesting this year. Looks to be more open than it's been for years. Having said that it will probably end up either United or Chelsea.

Think you are right Bernard, most open it has been since it's formation. Although United are playing crap they are not losing so not a good idea to bet against them.
Don't let that Cashy or Wyn know but I do have a soft spot for Stanley and they are always the second score I check on, but as for going to the ground - at my age with my knees - no way.;):D:D

I don't think you can rule City out either Barrie, they ripped Fulham to pieces yesterday, think United gave away a two goal lead there earlier in the season;)

If we lose then we could drop to 3rd. On the other hand, if you lose you could be just one point above the drop zone - and we do have a European match tonight while your players will be resting:p;):D

We are just passing time, still waiting for the scousers to make their late bid, but of course it could be that late that you miss the season.;):D

Anyway D in G, Mancie started the thread - just shows how considerate United fans are.

Yep.. nail biting stuff towards the end... had visions of United caving in and throwing away yet another lead. ;)

Just watched it - thought there was the possibility that Rovers would come back - but then again I have been wrong before, just can't remember when. Certain that the Ref was biased, we should have had at least one penalty:-)))

Have to say "Berbatov" scored what i rate goal of the season today, started it from outside his own penalty box, sensational.

Generally the case Cashy Berbatov ain't been able to hit a barn door if he was sitting on the sneck of weeks, mind you the ***** still couldn't score unless he's in a brothel

Poor D in G, and also Jay, bad weekend for both of you. Looks as though you are both heading down for the relegation zone - again.
Really do hope you survive, we always welcome the points and the laughs.
Real football team on Tuesday evening - hoping to stuff West Ham.
Oh dear, what a shame, never mind Chaps:-)))

Good job "the *****" didn't score - we could then have gone onto a new record and you would have been in the record books instead of Ipswich
:D;);)
