Apologies for that, AccyRed.

I have just double checked. On my screen, it certainly looks like 10, not 18.

No Problem RR I will make it slightly bigger for you when the next update arrives :)

Does the crown not have any quiz nights? The money you can raise at a quiz night, run a raffle, do play your cards right .. when i've done them for the school ive raised over £400 on one night .. it dont take long to write a quiz ..and its a fun night. Or run it at the club .. its only a suggestion.

I don't know the actual reason for this particular case, however I have seen this before as I has happened to me last year.

This was the notice that I received from PayPal:

"You have received a total amount of $3,300.00 USD or more in payments to your PayPal account in less than a year since you started using your PayPal account. Please complete the steps required to lift your limit.

PayPal is required by law to comply with European Union Anti-Money Laundering regulations by collecting information from customers when they receive more than the set limit in total payments. Once these steps are complete all limits will be removed from your PayPal account.”

I'd actually had a PayPal account since 2004, but they measured unusual increases in PayPal receipts in any one year and used the EU regulations to investigate any potentially fraudulent transactions. The whole process took 1-2 weeks to complete.

I don't know if this is the same reason for the suspension of the Club's PayPal account, but with such an unusual increase in funds flowing through that account, it would seem likely.

Ebay do suspend accounts with unusual funds into account with suspicion of money laundering & is probably why, the club needs to show that its not the case & account will be re-instated.
