I think we may be expecting our payment of around £200k from the Football League, perhaps we are going to use this to pay the taxman.

Perhaps it would alleviate fears if they made a pigging statement.

I've just noticed that the deadline day, according to the SOS site is, Saturday, October 24th. So, do the club have to hand the dosh over on that day? What about the money raised after that day? Will the club not be allowed to add that to the total?

I am sure that Rob or The Don said they were due back in court on 26th, so maybe they are using Saturday as the last day???

Lead Logo for the S.O.S...

'"The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. We are Stanley."

The measure of 'The Conflict' widens and deepens as each day passes....and
I wonder if it just me that has the feeling that 'The Triumph' is slowly sinking into a sea of gathering apathy...??????

I find the absence of the sort of statement which I know is envisaged by Cashy and others not only puzzling, but also a bit sinister!!!, and keep wondering what those purporting to be leading us towards 'The Triumph' have to hide from those who seek to work in so many ways to ease away the menacing prescence of HMRC !.

It was reported to me last night that The Board actually see all that we are concerned about in our postings, as not being the business of anyone but themselves, and that therefore, it is quite unnecessary to pass on any information regarding the salvation of the Club to the Hoi Polloi !.

I hope that this isn't the case at all !...still of the opinion that The Board have the degree of integrity which recognise the efforts of 'The Fundraisers'!
...but as yet still waiting for a word or two which will confirm this !!

'QUO VADIS STANLEY ????'.

Quite a few people have run with this 'the DON's on holiday' claim, but this is uncorroborated and I certainly wouldn't take solely the word of someone who, in their seven posts to date, has posted little more than anti-DON/pro-Ilyas arguments (as well as claiming to have donated several thousand pounds to the club).

Would think that has been spent over the summer on wages Mab :)

Still can't get my head round this...if they're back in court on the 26th, is the 24th the last day for money to be paid in? If so, what's the point of having the Stanley Legends v Ultras match on the 25th? And what's the point of having a fund raising disco on the 31st? The whole shooting match will be over then, for better or worse. Not trying to put a damper on things, but can someone enlighten me please?

Re: "Save Our Stanley"

If you look at the Halloween thread WH, it says ticket monies will be added in first, I would say that the same will be done for the Footy match, as for the cash taken on the actual days, well I was wondering myself, maybe they will have to run to the bank on Monday morning... :) :)

I am sure that the posters will fill us in later ;) :)
