We know the wages were paid (late) for September from where we do not know but, with the shortfall from the SOS fund and the 96k, we can hazard a guess. Nobody seems to know if the players have been paid for October and Ilyas is concerned for this to be ascertained as a matter of priority. Does anyone know?

The players will be paid this month - in full :)

Accrington Stanley chief executive answers the key questions (From Lancashire Telegraph)

More smokescreen tactics from the club. Appalling.

People are only mentioning O'Neill and Heys but don't forget Directors Heap and Holden who were at the meeting when it was said by two people that they would rather see the Club wound up than be run by Ilyas Khan.

A friend of mine was at the ground yesterday whilst O'Neill and Heys were in London. Guess who was sitting in the office large as life - the one and only Eric Whalley. This is the man who got us into this mess. This is the man who is the legal owner of Accrington Stanley, and whilst Ilyas and Peter were helping to save Stanley, Eric Whalley was sitting in the office at the Crown Ground. What a hard faced man that is.

I'm pretty sure there will be enough shareholders to call an EGM fairly quickly.
