Accrington boss John Coleman has refused to rule himself out of the running to become Lincoln's new manager.
The Imps are looking for a successor to Chris Sutton,http://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif who resigned last week after a year in charge at Sincil Bank.
Coleman'shttp://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif experience and success of working with a tight budget has reportedly put him on Lincoln's list of targets.
"You can never rule anything out in football and Lincoln are a big club and the potential of their fan base is massive," Coleman told the Lincolnshire Echo.
"I've always said if you do not have any ambition, then you are in danger of going backwards. That is something I don't want to happen."

Quite revealing...and scary too !

just bin out wi the dog to think, n i can only see 2 outcomes to this saga!
  1. Coley n jimmy are playing a game of bluff in attempt to make these ******* sort it.
  2. We have reached "The straw that broke the camels back"
if the latter which i fear it may be, any acceptable deal from another club n its goodnight vienna, ya can only take loyalty so far. just my opinion, but can anyone see n alternative?

Well said, Coley. How very true.

And therein lies the problem with O'Neill. Nowhere have I seen any statement of ambition that he has for the club. Unlike Ilyas Khan who has stated his ambitions very clearly, but these ambitions are evidently not to the liking of EW and DO'N. As many others have often said, these two will take us backwards.

3. Ilyas steps in and saves the day somehow or other?

Until O'neill and Heys are gone, we will never move forward.

And we need to banish Whalley once and for all.
Iylas needs needs to recognise his kindness to Eric is noble but damaging.

Heard on the radio earlier. And it's on MailOnline - sorry, can't do links - but JC is not apparently on their shortlist. Formet Southend boss Steve Tilson, Luton's Gary Brabin and, wait for it, former Tottenham man Justin Edinburgh.

As he said on Radio Lancs at 2:00 this afternoon Wyn..Ilyas recognises that JC is the best Manager in the Football League, and he can't understand why a Contract has been drawn-up and agreed !!...He also, and quite rightly noted that even with Contracts the success shared by JC and JB would make them natural targets for other clubs !...an inevitability for all Clubs having successful Managers ?.
I'm almost sure that he also described their present situation as one which places these respected and revered lads in a situation which has ignominy written all over it !.

Not wanting to sound a note of doom but....

And it all came true !

Ive never EVER known any organisation around the world that is as poorly run as Stanley.

We have an unbelievable manager & assistant and yet still nothing is done.

Enough is ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here Here Smudgie!

The time for talking always seems to come and go around the Club:mad:

I personally will be stepping things up a gear in terms of making my feelings known by showing my Support for Coley & Jimmy hopefully come Saturday at Bury as well as making other feelings known.

The sagas surrounding the Club can't keep going on and on they do nobody any favours but just keep dragging us all down at a time when things are going so right on the field.

Well said Smudgie.

Perhaps now is the time for fans to put on a concerted effort to show the numpties in charge (DON/WHALLEY) just how fed up we are of the whole thing............and yes I am talking PROTESTS..........support the players/management whilst on the field but make our feelings known pre match, half time, and post match both home and away......(stewards permitting away)

There will be some who say that protesting is wrong, well to that I say so is the way the club is being run! Wake up, smell the coffee, now is the time for DIRECT action, get the press,TV etc onboard and lets get rid of the cancer that is spreading within our club once and for all.:mad::mad:

Again some will say that we cant/wont make an ounce of difference.............I say what have we got to lose by trying?

Ideas/suggestions anyone?
