The season ends with a play-off between the top six clubs but, as Fury ended up 11th, and bottom, their season ended yesterday with the match that KJ saw.

So, is he coming top Accy or has he foolishly decided to go somewhere else?

I think JC will have to ship a few out before anybody comes in. Can't see it happening

Accy Observer has again linked Coley with a move for Hughes. Not exactly rocket science but the Observer aren't usually known for making stories up based on educated guesses.

The same article has us more than interested in Macclesfield pair Bencherif and Barnett. The second chappie is 'unlikely' to come here though as he will command a fee and has interested clubs further up the leagues. Never heard of him to be honest but the other fella is welcome, there's a bit of a shortage of Algerian kebabs shops in town!

Both of those 2 looked quality when we played them at their place, especially Barnett, just the sort of big, mobile and awkward guy we have always lacked up front.

Hope we get a few confirmed signings this weekend. Be a little gutted to see Jacobsen go after Coleman put his faith in him an gave him an immediate first team place dropping Bateson for the rest of the season. He Should show some loyalty to Stanley.

Bateson may well be at Morecambe next season. Particularly now that the assistant manager there, is the guy who took him on loan to Altrincham.

I know we didn't see too much of Ray Putterill, but in the minutes that he did play I for one had the impression that he was far fitter than Ian Craney.

Re: Deadline Day

i was under impression Craney was carrying n injury back end of season.;) would love to see putterill resigned, find it very odd though after hearing about the 10 day business, have not heard of 1 of em resigning so far, find that a bit ominous.
