Re: "Save Our Stanley"

To whoever why do you need to use both Paul Keeble and Raggy Thun as your usernames, it's very obvious the more posts you make that it's the same person, please drop one and continue to join in.

Re: "Save Our Stanley"

I can assure you we are not the same person. I do know Raggy & we work in the same building & whilst we share a passion for local football & have a similar outlook on all this, we are individuals and are just expressing our individual opinions like everyone else.

Alas my friend I fear not, although I am a really good looking bloke I am afraid that the only bulge below the belt is constantly over shadowed by the bulge above it, and the only package I have was delivered this morning by the postman. However, if there are any ladies out there who could do with a good laugh in lieu of a donation to the S.O.S fund I will happily humiliate myself for the cause.

Question Re: "Save Our Stanley"

Not too sure Cashy, as this one crept up on us, but I believe it is to do with monies not paid to P.F.A.? Maybe somebody from the club could confirm this....

I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that the debt to HMRC is but part of a larger picture. Is it the tip of the iceberg or is it (hopefully) the majority of the iceberg?

We are raising funds to stave off a huge imminent problem. Assuming that we are successful, is the club ready with longer-term fund-raising plans? From what has already been said and written, we know that the DON and other directors are unable to fund any ongoing shortfall. Where will future money come from?

I know it's been said often before and forgive me for saying it yet again, but surely the only realistic prospects for the medium and long-term future of the club are either major sponsorship or a benevolent backer. Oops - should I have written "banker" instead of "backer"?

Do stop going on about it!!...Some people have shown concern about the two significant others who, now and again I allow to share my postings.....'Alfred.E.' and 'HIM'...

It's always good to have an alter-ego or two..(Although my current psychiatrist wouldn't quite agree with that!) who like Paul and yourself 'go on about the same things'...(Sometimes Accrington Stanley even !!).

So why not become...Raggy Keeble ,or even Paul Thun... and state jointly held opinions in jointly agreed postings !...

Think of the space you would save...the number of suspicious contributors to our Forum you would cease to annoy...and the Moderators whose tender feet you would not tread upon!!.

Alfred.E. says..'It's as plain as the egg on your face !'...and we all say..

'ON STANLEY...ON!!!'
