express gifts cant get local people to work there because over the years thay have managed to pi** of almost every person in accrington eligable to work

it is teh most shabbiest run company i have ever had teh displeasure of stepping foot in to .

i know one person who was sacked for not looking interested in his job lol

cant see anyone disagreing with me on this one , unless of course they were management

used to love Hollands Pies.many years ago they had SOLID food in em, now they are full of mush,so that maybe explains the move? they can fill em from the bogs.:D as for express chav only disagree on 1 point, some people who used to work annualy at that dump are Dipsticks (my nephew) being one,it was the only sort of job he could get. he has been there a few years seasonally- not any more, hes the wrong race now.i.e.NOT POLISH.

Wasn't Dill Hall Lane destroyed when they created Dunkenhalgh Way to link up to the motorway?

Anyway, back to the plot - how can they say this won't affect production at Bash when they've already said 50 jobs will go?

I agree about the meat content though. A Holland's pie is not what it used to be.

i was only a nipper but i thought both co-icided as part of the big masterplan ie: build bypass and easier access for delivery waggons etc

i remember waggons having to reverse up dill hall lane because it was so steep

but i may be wrong:o

feel sorry for them

but the cheese and onion pie is simply the best ever

and the butter pie

just tooo yummy

mite go and get one now...

Re: Holland's Pies to be made in Ireland?

Ah now the butter pie, that is a good one. :) Busman, being a southerner, had never heard of butter pies and was totally baffled because he didn't realise that they also have potato in them.

Why did they reverse up Dill Hall Chav? Why didn't they go the other way and onto Blackburn Rd?

Can someone please explain the Mrs. Bagum comments to this out of touch ex-Basher? I'm very sorry to hear of the move and as someone posted earler, it is often the thin end of the wedge when something like this happens.
