How could they? How can you have an IMPORTED Holland's Pie??:confused:

that's sacrilege. i've heard of outsourcing but that's preposterous. how can they.

how may jobs to be lost? are they shutting teh whole thing or just moving some of it?

50 jobs? Although any job loss is bad it sounds a low number? There's more than 50 people work there, it must only be one section of it being moved to Ireland?

bear in mind that (i believe) a lot of their staff are agency staff and so are not included in the staff loss count

Well they will be keeping some local connection. They are shirt sponsors for Burnley next season.

I got the impression from the news it's partial shift not full closedown.

Never been a big fan of Hollands pies, prefer Bessie Greens but feel sorry for the job losses.

Maybe the sponsorship is offset by the contract for supply. :)
