That little volcano caused havoc - it's big brother next door is 'getting up steam'.

These earthquakes have been going on all year. They didn’t bother reporting when a main bridge was washed away in July due to a possible small eruption.

The Blue Lagoon looks great.

What time does it close?

I've just grabbed a towel, and some budgie smugglers.

Watching the cam, they're apparently de rigeur.

Not being shy, I'd happily go without.

:D

The budgie would soon disappear once you get out of that lovely warm water. Air temperature about -1C now:eek:

I was in Iceland a week ago, The Blue Lagoon is a lovely place, even when it is raining.
We had a few days there and I had the chance to drive around a bit, seeing a few Glaciers, Volcanoes and even the North American and Eurasian Tectonic plates.
The Icelanders are not too worried about any major eruptions in the near future.

I was so impressed, I am going to take Mrs BG for a few days in the spring.

Won't she get wrinkled, if she's in there for a few days?

Why not take her to see the other things you saw as well?

:D

If you are going to drive into the interior then you are only allowed in some areas after late June (check it out before you choose your time to go).

New Island may be formed soon in the canaries as an underwater volcano, that has been going for a couple of weeks, may break the waters surface.

Great Photo -didn't realise there was still so much activity in the Canaries. My parents live on Tenerife - is Teide extinct or just dormant?
