I think I would prefer a competition that said:-

Lets have competition to see how many words we can apply to our NEW council leader.

But what do I know? I've probably been branded a Conservative just 'cos I won't suffer Labour fools anymore gladly than any others, (I'd like to support Labour, been shish cabbabed by the other lot too many times, but, and by Godfrey, it's a big but, BUT, not if they employ methods like Simple Simon's').

:D

Yes...I guess to a point...especially if you want to keep the children away from the fire...or scare the cats off the petty(lavvy) wall.

Nothing constructive to say, so you just insult people. How clever.

Much more clever than someone like you that forgets how you started the joke, I await your last post with Joyous. anticipation,
In case you don't understand, I hope that was your last post, you add nothing to the site, the threads, or the posts, I don't know you but it's a fair bet you add less than that to life itself.

Oh my god, just how stupid are you?

Well...

I was going to take time pointing it out but, you wouldn't comprehend and you certainly aren't worth telling.

You wouldn't think that a councillor of just four months would be able to ruffle a council leader with such a wealth of experience, would you?

Ken you have had quite a long time before you get a roasting. I got mine, for something I hadn't done, at the first Cabinet meeting I attended as a councillor - which was only 6 days after being elected. I think he did learn that he could not make me burst into tears (which I am sure he wanted to do) and that I am not easily intimidated, especially by people whose only claim to being my superior is in the size of their councillor allowances

I suppose in many ways I was trying to reassure someone who may in reality have a delicate ego that a new viewpoint would be welcome. Given the lack of response so far, I feel like a bit of a bully.

To change the subject completely, the road surface along Hartley Street is appalling. Who is your county councillor?
