Well the fact that this guy is now history is good news indeed, I put the TV on at 8 this morning, and it surprises me how many ways there are to say somebody is dead, then go on to ask the world and his wife what they think about it. In one hour I heard Obama's speech about 5 times, Camerons the same, now they've changed the TV scheduling on BBC1, Why do they have a news channel, I didn't watch the BBC news for 3 days to get away from the Wedding of the year, just when I thought it was time to go back in the water, they bump of Bin Bag, looks like its another news embargo for the next few days:mad::mad:

So he has been killed......just because you kill one cockroach, doesn't mean you have got rid of the infestation.
I am sure he has left one thousand other young men ready to take his place......we are fools if we think this mans death is going to do anything against terrorism.

Pakistan has frequently denied being involved in providing support for Bin Laden and his cohorts...this now proves to be false.
Our money, in the shape of foreign aid, is arming these radicals against us.
Countries who are giving shelter/supporting terrorists should be denied all foreign aid

With the greatest respect Cashy......(and you know I like the way you don't mince your words)........I don't think this is what MargaretR means.

It may be true that he has been killed....or it may not(we have all seen what special effects men can do in movies).
Barack Obama is having a particularly torrid time, politically, at present.
If it is true that OBL was killed several days ago, then why wait to announce it to the world?

If you are of a cynical turn of mind( I am....and I suspect you are too) then what was the purpose of delaying this information?

There may be a reasonable explanation.....it might have been to do with military operations....but it may have been something else....it may have been to boost the political career of the jaded president.
Then again it could be something else entirely.

some reports said last week,some said yesterday, does it really matter when? the guys dead simple as. maybe you were born yesterday if yeh think the when matters?:rolleyes:
