The fact of the matter is that this government( and had it been a Labour Government it would have been the exactly same) inherited a poison chalice.
A country who was up to the eyeballs in debt because of previous lax financial policies......not to mention all the other problems(so I won't).
Labour says it wouldn't do what this coalition is doing, but....as I have said before. You can say anything you like when in opposition, because you know the theory wont be tested in the practical sense.
This is my last post to this thread.........I do not feel that replying to links posted from newspapers/news sites etc, with little more than a line of comment makes for anything of a discussion. It is just lazy posting.....not discussion.

Totally agree Margaret, my last post too, I'll just let the scottish numpty and the mad Manc leave it to themselves, they love hearing themselves talk anyway

What cheap labour ? The courses are being filled by other nations & they're paying, it'd be the same as you crossing the border to take driving lessons (read the article).

What are you gibbering on about ?? Been at the Special Brew already ?? You've posted & I can't make head nor tail of where you're coming from, perhaps a lay down in a darkened room might put your diminutive brain in to some semblance of balance, when it is do come back & try again. Mind you it may be rather difficult as the thinking capacity has been somewhat reduced to fit all the Socialist, Labourite dogma you slavishly keep spewing forth.

I can't agree that the US economy is in even goodish (like that word I do:D) shape. However, the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario did put mega billions into the bail out of GM and Chrysler, as did the UAW, in terms of wage freezes etc., in order to safeguard Canadian jobs in Windsor and Oshawa. Spending to save jobs is good government.

I'll say it again you are wasting your time and energy on here ;)
No matter what this disaster of a government get up to there will be the usual mob ready to defend them or simply blame the last lot .. I mean come on we have a German Dave.(and we all know what sort of "socialism" they believe in);).. the bloke from Ossie who benefited more from the last government than Greece will ever do...and then the "neutral" head nurse who more or less tells you to shut up because she knows best... give up mate :D
