No matter what this disaster of a government get up to there will be the usual mob ready to defend them or simply blame the last lot .. I mean come on we have a German Dave.

From said German Dave :D Mancie, once more you enter the foray at a disadvantage my friend. If your compatriot North of the Border came on ready to debate (& not mass debate as usual ;) Damn spell check) then I & others would willingly partake in a balanced & reasonable discussion, but blind vitriol & point scoring against all things Tory isn't worth the effort !

I have stated elsewhere in other threads that I don't agree, with some of the measures the present Coalition Government are doing, despite that to all intents & purposes it's being run by "The Damned Tories" ! But Your cherished Labour wouldn't have been any better as they too would've had to share the platform with the Lib-dems for them to seriously have had any chance of continued tenure in office. But as MC Broon was in charge there was no chance.

Surely then If they'd have been the good Socialists you espouse them to be, quite simply for the good of the people & benefit & equality for all (the basic ground tenet of Socialism) McBroon & those associated with his despotic reign would've stepped aside for the benefit of all ? Er, I didn't see that happening ! In fact quite the opposite transpired it was more akin to the Roman senate of 44 BC ! Et tu, Brute ? ;)

I just assumed the Peoples' Nancie, and cumonEileen, are Tory activists.

Planted here to bore every potential voter into submission, and vow never to vote Labour again.

nowt to do wi the torys, pension funds etc have been creaming off/taking pension holidays etc fer donkeys years, i agree its a crap state of affairs, but all these pension funds had trustees, some were even from the shopfloor, i could see the way things were going 20 yrs ago, so i took mine in 98, when i was 50, i know folk now in the same fund that have contacted the ombudsman cos the fund has been creamed off since, its a disgrace whats gone on, but pointless blaming the present lot, "All" have turned a blind eye to whats gone on fer many years. its exactly the same scenario wi goverment pension schemes.

You see yourself as such do you ? I read an interesting article in todays Independent on this very topic. I've included it below so if you have the inclination & aptitude you can take a browse through, you my find it a bit heavy going as it doesn't exalt your party of choice but then again it's people like yourself (labour supporters & unionists) who are making these damming statements about the supposed champions of the working class. So who exactly should you be railing against ? Looking at the facts some of your beliefs sure aren't going to be pretty.

Yes, I'm quite sure this is subversive Tory propoganda at work.

Who were you referring to, since you posted 'you', but didn't quote anyone?

Jaysay, since you posted directly after him?

Is this the caring face of the political left?

Castigating his ability to work, because he can't, through serious ill health?

Whilst 'you' have to work until sixty eight.

Unless you have a crystal ball, count your blessings if you're still here at sixty eight, and able to work. No one knows what's around the corner in this life.

A true socialist, of which you're not one, would happily work, if they were fit and able, in order to provide for those in genuine need, who could no longer earn a living because of illness.

Like I said, your measly, whingingly selfish attitude has more in common with Thatcherism, than it has to the ideals of true socialism.

Self-pitying, as well as boring in the extreme.

Well done.
