The eighties revival continues.

'Up to 100,000 unemployed under-25s would be forced to take a government-paid job to get them off the dole or face losing their benefits under proposals from Labour.'

Labour plans to make 100,000 unemployed take government-paid jobs - Telegraph

Thatcher would be proud.

I haven't watched the programme but nevertheless quite a lot of my generation already knew about the withdrawal of basic human rights and the torture inflicted on man by Hitler and the Japanese. Thus it was right to try to make sure it never happened again and if it did then there would be a European Court to deal with it. In the 1950s when it was the norm for the state to give the ultimate punishment of death to calculating murderers it wasn't envisaged by Churchill and others how the law would be used to protect villains from meeting their maker.

Quite right, Thats the whole point, it is not now the reason it was introduced, Thats why we should tell em to stuff it.

To do homework you need brains, something which you sadly lack, and keep proving every time you post

When you say it is quite interesting, that is because you didn't understand it.
You can prove anything with statistics and bar graphs.

My first post on this thread - I saw the Andrew Marr Show this morning and they were talking about the Chancellor - George Osbourne cutting the top tax rate of 50p - showing their true colors here! So much for equality!
