Well I seem to have a little more idea that you and your little scottish mate, I just can't understand how you can think that Brown and Blair ran this country successfully, they were an unmitigated disaster, just like Sonny Jim and good old Herold before them, totally economically incompetent, especially when they set about their scorched earth policy in the months leading up to the election

They are bringing back the Right to Buy - another change in policy that they had before the election. They are putting up the maximum discount to £75,000! This is to generate money to build new housing so they say! :hidewall: The most anyone get get discounted off their council property is 70% under new laws I think New Labour reduced it massively to about 20% but don't quote me fully on that one but it was low! Also there is a scam that some mortgage companies have - they lend you the money to buy, then give you a cash lump some to vacate the premises and they have the ownership!

I don't always open the links, but when I do, I frequently find that the poster has totally misread the article and only posted because of some contentious headline........after all it is what newspapers do to get your attention.

I don't think you need to do much searching for information that politicians would make good lawn food(fisons - fertilizer - doo-doo).
It seems that their lives are totally divorced from the reality of the electorate....and what is more they are really not too interested in what the electorate thinks or wants....as long as they are OK. That is all tha matters.
