Well it seems like the bleeding heart brigade are full of the usual excuses for the rioters. Do-gooders and psycologists dream up some wonderful justifications for what has happened - deprivation, immigration, unemployment, etc. In reality there is only one cause of the selfish mental state of these rioters - a lack of corporal discipline in their upbringing. Labour's parenting policy under the guise of European Human Rights was the start of this and has effectively removed the very core of discipline within the family unit. They also actively and financially encouraged the breakdown of the traditional family unit by inventing the term 'single mother'. Unless that mother is a widow then her children have a father (or fathers in many cases). That loss of a father figure together with human rights dogma are the basic cause of undisciplined children. Also, laws created by do-gooders to prevent child abuse have made it a criminal act for teachers, community elders and the police to administer basic corporal discipline to unruly and foul-mouthed children and youths. We now have an entire generation of ferral youths who have no concept of respect for their elders or property. In my day "a clout 'round the ear'ole" never did anyone any harm but certainly made them take notice. It's too late now to teach these yobs respect so just do away with them and send a strong message to the next generation.

I voted yes to shooting em, what a waste of spaces they all are.
I have not been able to go out of the house as I am ill at the min and I am disgusted when I have watched the programmes and news.

Shoot em all wi rubber bullets in thier arms and let em suffer.
Who ther hell do they think they are?
Also PM should be doing more, bet they are all laughing at him because they know at the minute no-one can touch em while they carry on looting.

Of all the disturbing images of the riots, the one that affected me most was the sight of a young lad with a pool of blood being cared for by youths who then proceeded to mug him from his bag on his back. It was a sickening sight.

It was gratifying to hear that the police have identified at least one of his muggers, and the lad was on TV tonight with a smile on his face and recovering in hospital. He is a Malaysian student and the Malaysian embassy are looking after him.

What a load of rubbish. Many of those kids probably have their fathers living with them. Many parents these days are terrible role models, doesn't matter if they are together or apart.

been a pretty quiet night,by all accounts, whats the betting when the extra police sod off, the lunatics will again take oer? they will have already seen some of todays "Tough Punishments":rolleyes: decide to change there mobiles, trainers,etc n return fer new uns.:(

im watching bbc news at the min .. and they just had a woman guest on ... she says that the rioters dont know that what they were doing was wrong .... if thats the case then why are they not doing that every day when they go out ...
