Blackburn had a lapdancing bar, it has now gone. The only people going in were Asian's who were only drinking orange juice and the likes.
Kevin Logan just likes to get his name in the paper.
I'll give it 'til Christmas, and there will be a to let sign outside

Logan never did get back to me, when he popped up on here once.

When I wanted to know if he still thought HIV was God punishing 'sinners'. Which he'd claimed in the eighties.

Seeing as there have been thousands, of presumably innocent children, who've died since then, due to having had the disease.

Quieter than a priest, patrolling the dorms in a religious boarding school.

Deadly silent.

Odd, that.

Was it the Duke of Wellington? I didn't live in Accrington then but I do remember being told about it possibly by one of my children who used to go out round Accrington and whose partners are all from Accrington.

That said. I don't really have much of an opinion about lap dancing clubs. Simply its not the kind of place I would visit. Perhaps they should be kept in the cities

Better to shake your ass, and get paid for it, than to sit at home on it, unable to get any other work.

So you condoning prostitution then? Better to sell you ass than sit at home unable to work? Is that the theory?

My understanding of Prostitution is having Sexual intercourse or Fellatio for money.
Lap dancing however there is no physical contact, although the participants are very close to one another.
I do believe that simply 'shaking your ass' is not Prostitution, nor is having some nude photos taken.

Bit of a cheap shot really, your first post on this subject, as mine is.

Hi People,

Been in a few times as i know the owner, Hes a good bloke, Place looks good not seedy its more a chilled out vibe, They had a problem with a few dancers on the first weekend it opened due to the manageress making a bit of a boob, she was replaced immediatley and week two and from then they have an agency providing new dancers.

Its a nice place nothing seedy or dodgy and it also has a lot of women going in as well as blokes so the whole things seems to have taken off well and been accepted.

Ive been in and have to say I love the fact that there is a kids urinal in the toilet!! The girls were a bit thin on the ground and the ones they had werent up to much. I daresay it will last till new year with the xmas trade and then it will die out after the novelty is gone. Oh and in all the confusion of nobody taking any payment I forgot to say thanks for the free dance lol. I wont be going back but if its somewhere you fancy going its ok for what it is.

Ha ha John when I was at Uni my boyfriend was 6' 4" and when we went into pubs and I stood next to him at the bar I often used to get asked if I was 18 even though we were both about 23 at the time! happy days!!

Sadly we both moved on though we are still in touch forty odd years later. The present one of 36 years standing is more manageable - he's only five foot eight!

Don't know if anyone has noticed but Quattros is now closed for reburfishment. From what I've heard it's going to be turned in to a bar, which will be handy for filtering customers upstairs rather than the exit

I was talking to someone on Saturday who works there, he said that Quattros has closed down as a restaurant. I think it's a shame, but I'm not surprised.

Flat-footed?

Not an advantage, when you're trying to get a grip, and shimmy up a pole.

Lol imagine you're a dancer, and you search 'Lap Dancing Clubs Lancs' because you want to try another club.
You stumble upon a link to this thread.
You read it.
You apply for job at iCandy.

Ps hello everyone. :)

Alas Jaysay, the Merrion centre isn't quite what it was, especially the market stall bit. On the other hand there are some good arcades/centres a bit closer to the station and off Briggate so it's good for retail therapy, or so I'm told.

Sugar mouse you are probably right to work in Lancs, far too many folk in my neck of the woods aren't that keen on demonstrating a happy attitude.
:D

Lol !
I'm actually from Calverley originally. I don't know where I am going to live next, am moving soon.
Leeds just has too many clubs, too many girls and the rules are too strict for me-I like to lap dance, not air dance and I can't make money if I have somebody breathing down my neck with a book of things I am not allowed to do.

You a regular then :D
I've never been to the place obviously. My first night is this Friday coming. I've never experienced 'Accy' nightlife and am unsure what to expect.
I had a lodger once, who was from Accrington. I had to throw him out.
He was a ...Erm..COLOURFUL character shall we say...
