My thoughts exactly Dave, Gordon does'nt seem to grasp the gravity of this situation its not only ducks that are at risk, boats and fish are also at peril . We need to monitor the fire extinguisher closely. Its meandering may be a ploy to fool us into thinking its just another lost fire fighting appliance when all along it has a plan for world domination.:dflam::dflam:

Maybe someone should check the fire extinguisher to see if there is any Arabic writing on it ... if there is, maybe the bomb squad should be called in:D

I thought it was getting out of control myself, it has taken on a life of its own

I think we should have a man walking up and down the towpath wearing a dayglow jacket and a peaked cap, just to keep a lid on this thing.

Great:alright: Glad to see you guys are on top of things. You never know, given the strategic importance of the cut. I suppose someone also checked to see if it was full of tiny alien beings, ones that closely resemble baby ducks:).

Could you not make this your next electronics project?
Fit a tracker device, build a website & put a link on here so we can follow it in real time from the comfort of our own homes?

What you need is someone like Bubbles from "Trailer Park Boys" ... great show, 100% Canadian. I was going to post a video; but as this is a family forum, anyone who wants to find out about Bubbles will have to talk to Mr. Google;) ... the language is a tad graphic.

any advice on the hardware :D

If I had not sold my busted HTC sensation I could of taped that to it. Could of tracked it via GPS... but then again the battery only lasted 8-10 hours a day at its best :P
