1. Tinker Brook as it tinkles past Foxhill Bank Nature Reserve.
2. The Road from Blackburn Road to the original Foxhill Bank, you can just see the railway bridge in the foliage.
3. Very little remains of the factories that covered this site.
4. Ox Eye Daisy on the edge of the reservoir.
5. Wild Cranesbill Geranium.
6. Giant Scabious in Gatty Park.
7. A past its best Rose.
8. Looking across to the bowling green.
9. One "end" before home.
10. Cultivated Cranesbill Geranium.

The wild geranium is just as lovely as the cultivated one in my opinion :)

Today it was the Freedom of the Borough Parade.
I didn't know about it until i got into town and the barriers were in place in front of the town Hall.
No matter I had my little camera in my bag and here are some pics from the event.
I don't think the pics need any explanations......and I hope you can feel the pride.

I had 150 pics when I got home. Haven't resized them all yet, that is why I have put a link on to the Flickr Site.

Frank, sorry you could not be there, it was a very rousing sight, and very well supported too...lots of flag waving school children.

Margaret and Jen, your shots of the event are wonderful! I was inspired by your efforts, and got out to an event myself, camera in hand as you will see.

Dave, lovely shots as always. I really like the begonia - they are special favourites of mine :)
