Was a beautiful sunset last night. You have got me going and managed to capture a couple of 'photos from my back door step. Need some practice though :

You don't need practice - they're perfect! Love that reflection - and the ducks!

That's Hinge and Bracket ... they take me for granted. Notice how they didn't even raise a feather by my presence.

Yes, that's our near neighbour - and a very good picture of it! They have races at the weekend and some people drag their yachts down our back lane to get to the sea. It's weird watching sails and masts going past over the garden wall!

I leave it to those better placed, and more able than myself.
I will stick to my subjects, which are wet water and wickthings, and if I can get a wickthing in water , well, then I am beside myself.

dont forget tho that its after the longest day .. so the sunsets will be getting earlier .... :p:p:p

Trouble is it could be any time of day depending on high tide, and they don't always come that way... got better things to do than wait around!

Today in Pictures. A wet day in Hyndburn, nothing exciting to report today, but here is my contribution.

1. Lets start off with a wickthing.
2. Watching the Coppice vanish in the clouds.
3. The Coppice, a bit further round.
4. The crop of Perpignolies are almost ready in the greenhouses.
5. The arches zoomed in.
6. Looking one way on the viaduct.
7. Looking the other way.

They don't work well in the wet, but I do dangle from a bunch of helium filled balloons under moist conditions
