Just a note on the Animals, We Gotta get out of this place, around 1966, there was a coffee Bar across the road from the Con Club at Clayton, it was opened by two guys from Canada, only lasted about twelve months, that song was always on the juke box, and every body would join in with the chorus, screeming out loud, We Gotta ------- it was the last house on the block, next to the bridge with a balcony overlooking the canal, is it still there. Dose anyone remember it.
