Bearing in mind that I can't see this myself once I've posted it, but I hope you can, let's go back to 1956. Elvis is the flavour of the month/year/decade but this guy, literally, is very big, bigger in England than in the USA and I just love him. Looking at this video I can still appreciate why I did. :D

Wish I still had 'em, but both sadly long gone, as is this one which I picked up for 1/6 in the sale at Bandbox in '66. It was David Bowie's first ever single and it's now worth around £1,000. :o

On 3 February 1967, using a shotgun owned by musician Heinz Burt, Meek murdered his landlady before turning the gun on himself. Aged only 37, he died eight years to the day after his hero, Buddy Holly.

So, yeah, Phil Spector! Not my sort of music. How about Boom Boom?
