Pressley,s first goal for Stevenage in their 2-0 victory something about their manager Evans can certainly get the best out of players.

It was a hefty deflection - lucky rather than judged

Nah, if it had deflected off that nice Mr. Evans it would have spun into orbit

Andy Mangan now interim manager at Bristol Rovers after Joey Barton was sacked. Danny Ventre one of his assistants.

Not a fan of thug Barton, but had to laugh when hearing that he called Steve Evans "fat man" and a "weeble".

It's good to hear, that after his struggles with depression, Billy is playing and it would appear enjoying it.

At Thursday night’s dinner, Coley suggested that Jordan Clark has been the best former player who has gone onto “richer” pastures, so it was nice to see Jordan came on as a sub for Luton at Old Trafford. Pity he couldn’t get an equaliser.

After last week’s Youth Cup game at Fylde I got chatting with a steward who was former Stanley player from 1970-73 - Graham Bisby.
His memories of the Crown pitch and facilities in those days would probably not be believed by many who’ve visited The Wham in the last few seasons.

Stick with this short video of Alfreton v Walsall and you’ll see Harry Perritt having a late shot blocked.

Notice Josh Andrews had to come off injured in his first practice game for Gillingham's development team. Apparently unrelated to the injury that kept him out whilst he was with us but likely to keep him out for a few weeks.

One of their first matches in charge will be on 9 March in the quarter-final of the FA Trophy, against Billy Kee's former club, Coalville Town, who beat Bishops Stortford away 3-0 in the previous round after numerous postponements.

Seems like the child Charles has been up to his tricks with the Trotters (allegedly he’s been “injured” but, against his manager’s suggestion to stay home and get fit for the end of the season, swanned off to Northern Ireland to sit on the bench in a meaningless friendly)

No sympathy for Bolton, their fans at the time insisted we couldn't blame him for wanting to join a 'bigger club' but what goes around comes around & to quote another cliche, a leopard never changes his spots
