There's a post on an Aberdeen forum about the opposition shooting as soon as they crossed the halfway line when Bertie Bossu was in goal.

I once tried to reach over the fence in the Clayton End to pick up a ball for Paul Chrichton. When I said I couldn't reach it, he responded with 'Story of my life!'

I remember that I actually quite liked Paul Crichton. :p

I also remember that Cambridge game with Bossu in goal. Fola Onibuje ran us ragged in that first half and I thought, "if only we had a player like that". A few years later he turned up at Accrington and didn't set the world alight. Typical really.

I remember the York fans throwing beach balls at Crichton with shouts of "See if you can catch that" - his reputation had gone before him :D

best thing he can do is walk now if he has somewhere to walk too. if he stays his options could end up being forced out anyway or years of getting his compo anyway through the courts.

I've just checked back to January 2015. We lost all four matches that Matt Macey played, conceding 11 goals, including the 5 at home to Northampton.

And he is a Premiership keeper winning a medal I believe yesterday maybe he just wasn't interested at Stanley it happens especially with kids was same with a Rovers player forget,s his name who came on loan he just didn't care but was probably at 18/19 earning more than Stanley squad.

Nearly 26 and played approx. 50 senior games in his career.
Just a shame that most of his time has been sat on a bench.

All Harrogate 1st half. All Notts County second.

Whilst the financial aspect has a role to play this was way down the list of priorities. This was all about Jordan wanting to stretch himself and see if he could cut it at Championship level.
Several League One clubs expressed interest (and below) that financially ticked the box but he was never going to move sideways or down. A few at Championship level were always going to be the shortlist.

Time will tell but I can't think why any Accy fan could be miffed about his decision.
He's given four good years kept his head down worked hard and never let anyone down.
Equally the club has been good for him.
