Can anyone remember the name of the shop at the end of Wordsworth Road Fern Gore in the 1950's it was just before the junction with Willows Lane.

I went there between 1949-53 Mr.Barton was the head,lovely man Mr.Pickles was one of the teachers,very handsome,I can't remember the names of the other teachers.

Sorry,his surnane was Doolan, I think it would be the 1920's when he died but I'm not sure.

My uncle John was on his first day or work at Broad Oak,he felt faint & the supervisor told him he'd be with him shortly,unluckily him uncle fainted & fell on a belt which took him up to the ceiling...
