I have a few questions (they may be a bit silly, but it`s a silly sort of thread), if getting into heaven doesnt require you to be good, but to spread the word of god -
1. What`s the point of having 10 commandments
2. Does that mean any child the dies has no chance of going to heaven because they haven`t lived long enough to spread the word of god.
3. Does anyone who has never learned to read or has never owned a bible has no chance either.
4. Will all gods paedophile church ministers will be welcomed with open arms.
5. Why is there no mention of Kangaroos in the bible.

Whether ye are doomed is up to each and every one of us. We have a loving God who sent his son into the world to pay the sacrificial price for our sins. It is up to us to see that it wasn't in vain. To gain salvation one has to be receptive. God is not going to twist anybody's arm. He only wants willing converts. Those who don't wish to join will not be pressed but remember the judgment and it's awful consequences.

Jesus was the one who spoke most about hell. Some people think that it is something finite on earth and indeed some do make their own hell but the hell Jesus spoke of was an infinite hell in the next life and he warned us to stay out of it.

“People think of faith as being something that you don't really believe, a device in helping you believe simply it. Of course that is quite wrong. As Pascal says, faith is a gift of God. It is different from the proof of it. It is the kind of faith God himself places in the heart, of which the proof is often the instrument...
He says of it, too, that it is the heart which is aware of God, and not reason. That is what faith is: God perceived by the heart, not be reason.”

Once again you have failed to make comment on an important point - you seem to have a habit of doing this - just gleaning over what you can't answer.......

Whats next, Africans maybe?, why don't you use the K word to describe them, you may sound like a white south african. I know, how about those who are un married, like myself and my good lady, living in sin.

Oh dear, our Christian friend I fear has no sense of humour, you may be wise to ask the mods to remove his mug shot.
Sorry can't say anymore at the moment.

Interesting Mrs r That you hide behind the cloak of anonimity but choose to unmask some one. Probably comes under the rules on personal details n stuff, but hey ho. I have hacked into your online horoscope and it makes interesting reading.

Deceptive Neptune has been causing problems lately in your charts communication zone. This week it changes course and making sense of it all becomes easier. Take each situation as it comes and try not to plan too far ahead. You are also due to come up with an new solution to an old dilemma.

For further information text TEL and then the first three letters of your star sign to 87080.

then again, reading the reviews and knowing what music you like. Why would you be interested in FLAC files and higher quality in general

Edit: Funny comments on the review. Got to love bible bashing movie reviewers (not)

Are you sure ?

Nothing is required of us other than to tell the Gospel .

Leaving the Old Testament to one side for the time being , are you not conversant with the commands made in the New Testament by Jesus , Paul , James , Peter , John etc .

You haven't answered yet K99 .

I gave it to BG to do as homework and then gave him the scripture to save him looking it up. Finding scripture on the Internet is so easy I have given up using my bible program.

We cannot leave the Old Testament aside as it is part of our bible given for us to read, mark, learn and inwardly digest.

BLESSED Lord, who hast caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant that we may in such wise hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that by patience and comfort of thy holy Word, we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which thou hast given us in our Saviour Jesus Christ. Sorry , but that is not an answer to my question .

You said : " We are COMMANDED to tell the gospel. Nothing further is required of us. "

I asked : " Are you sure ?

Nothing is required of us other than to tell the Gospel .

Leaving the Old Testament to one side for the time being , are you not conversant with the commands made in the New Testament by Jesus , Paul , James , Peter , John etc ? "

It's a simple question . Would you answer it , please ?

Well I think you have had your day in the sun, we gave you a good shot.
All your doing now is putting disjointed quotes on, you made very little sense before, you make even less now.

Why won't you answer mine, JCB's or anyone elses question?

Is it because you are scared of being found out?
And wanting?
