Nothing, but Cllrs Britcliffe and Haworth have never heard the expression 'less is more'.

Mind you, come the next administration I probably won't be saying that as there'll be enough brass plaques to weigh in across the borough to pay for a community centre in Rishton.

Come on Peter, there's an envelope to open in Springhill this morning, get minting those plaques!

Well someone has to speak up for him as he's not actually been overly involved on here since he burst onto the scene middle of this month. :do-one:

As of Wednesday next week the outdoor market will be running 7 days a week (in various formats) I can only assume that the Market Hall traders will be told/asked to follow suit before long. A few late night openings on the run up to Christmas might be pencilled in, just to add to the tension. That’s just me speculating tho.

Porters/cleaners have still not been officially told of the Wednesday trading which will obviously alter their duties and responsibilities. Let’s hope there is actually someone there who knows that the doors have to be opened and stalls set up.

Splendid time for the Market manager to go on holiday

There's a flyer, presumably paid for, in every copy of this week's Observer.

Advertising next week's grand spectacle, and announcing the times that little bald bloke, off Benny Hill, will be doing cookery demonstrations in the Market Hall.

Perhaps it was just coincidence, that the review, and the flyer, appeared in the same week's copy.

I don't normally subscribe to evil thoughts :D
...but don't you just wish that this event will be a sabotaged fiasco?

Margaret......in a word 'YES'.......is there anyone on here who has access to the electrical fuse box? and would be willing to 'pull the plug' for the lights and the sound system? Only joking! :D
