Local politics....national politics....local politics....national politics.....

No comparison, Jay old mate!

The 'last Labour lot' in Hyndburn have all but vanished from the chamber, new blood and all that? With it comes new ideas and evolution according to the social climate.

If you want to see crazy spending then ask Peter about his initial outlines for the Royal Wedding celebrations. Closing roads was on the table, possibly the most costly move a council could make.

I thought I had seen something on one of the newspaper boards outside the papershop.........something along the lines that six day trading in the Market hall was deemed a flop....though those are not the actual word used......'Councillors agree that six day trading has failed'.......I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, I don't think I dreamed it.

Yeah, they don't even acknowledge that they've read the story on here and borrowed it, such a shame, after all our version of the interweb must be making their lives so much easier,
(allegedly).

Evolution means everything's constantly in a state of flux.

Things alter.

Perhaps your 'dinosaurs' have.

After all things do change, and suprise us.

You, not voting Tory, in the last election, for one.

;)

Are you repudiating the policies of the last Labour lot ? If so why ?

What are these new ideas ?

What does evolution according to the social climate mean ?:confused::confused:

Or more simply , what do you think the Labour Party is about ?

I generally accept we will be quiet during January. I do wonder about moving elsewhere though to a town where the council actually want shops

I'm loving your polarised online persona. You deride political threads yet take part in virtually nothing else.

Pick any policy from any party that you like and look back 20 or 30 years at the stance on it. If you can find anything that has remained resolutely unchanged in every way then I salute you.

Now then Jay it isn't purely labour who've whored themselves out to gain the populist vote now ! As I keep reminding C'mon, he needs to look up the word "Parity" maybe you could take a peek in the big book of words too ?
