Which and where was this online poll G. I'm sure that with all that's gone on if there had have been this poll at least one member on here would have clocked it and would have let us all know:confused::confused:

So nearly 70 markets entered the competition at £763 a go? That's comfortably £50,000 for a glass trophy and an awards ceremony plus a few civil servants. Marvellous, another reason to feel good about the way this country spends our money.

Perhaps Bury Council had the sense not to enter and just concentrated on getting on with it.

Perhaps Bury already know they have a good market, because of the thousands of people who travel there to spend their dosh.

They mightn't be as needy for a certificate, and a pat on the head.

Especially when you have to pay hundreds of pounds to receive that pat.

Can't disagree with that Ken, personally I never could stand self congrats back slapping do's mi sen, if you good at what you do you don't have to enter a competitive, people tell you with their feet how good you are, end off:rolleyes:
