Surely there should be no problem for bus drivers? Given their occupation, they should be covered under the ancient statutes of Waggoners Rights. So if they do need a pee, they can do so quite legally providing they do it against the front offside wheel.

I think if they want do do something else, they have to use the horse bag.

No Health & Safety, either....still, I suppose it's worth a try.

It is a money saving excercise that they are legally allowed to do, but it will reduce the number of people (especially older people with 'old bladders') visiting the town centre.

British Toilet Association: News from the BTA
extract -
The previous government considered, but failed to implement, a proposal that provision of public toilets should be a statutory duty of local councils.

Sent my complaint in, think the decision is ludicrous:mad: Counted no fewer than a dozen people heading to the toilets in a very short space of time today. The sooner they are reopened on Monday's and Wednesday's the better IMHO

The law allowing bus drivers to urinate on the rear offside wheel was revoked in the early nineties. The only reason we found out about it was when a driver was prosecuted and as part of his sentence, he was made to sign the sex offenders register.

One of the points we are trying to make. It's bad enough trying to make a living here without another building being locked up even if it is only a loo.
This council is determined to make the town a ghetto.

De-contamination, if PB was unfortunate enough to find himself rubbing shoulders with the Hoi Polloi when taking a short cut through the market hall in his rush to have his piccy taken for the local rag he can nip in there and remove the risk of disease.

Rumour has it there is a secret door connected where he stores replacement disinfected suits and an incinerator to destroy what he was wearing.

Further rumour says that when a Council middle management official suggested that the heat generated could be used to warm the sports centre, he was never seen again!
