It's about time he came to live in the real world.

Let's not forget what happened last May.

Because Peter Britcliffe wasn't selected as the prospective parliamentary candidate, nearly all the local Tories refused to campaign for Conservative central office's preferred candidate, Cameron approved cutie, Karen Buckley. Some even leaving the party in disgust.

She didn't stand a chance, when her campaign team seemed to consist of just two spotty youths.

He seems to have the unblinding loyalty of his party, at least locally, and there doesn't seem there's anyone who's being groomed to eventually take his throne.

If he isn't the leader, if the Conservatives lose control of H.B.C., he won't get the same weighty package, no.

Perhaps I should take in lodgers.

Living as I do in the ward Cllr. Britcliffe represents.

If you don't mind top 'n' tailing, I should easily be able to get 300 in my back bedroom.

Please pm for details.

:D

If they lose very badly at the next elections, many may well turn against him. I'm not sure they are all behind him in such force, they are just fearful for the own careers if they go against him.

Well said . :)

Hopefully you're referring to the Italian Prime Minister's liking for a belly dancing Ruby Murray, and not a local councillor?

Phew.

Those protests at the Mayor making ceremony the other year, I thought were about to make sense.

:rolleyes::D

Yes, that's li'l Moroccan Ruby Murray.

Who likes to be known as a 'belly dancer', rather than a little 'ho, who accepts 7,000 euro 'presents' from someone old enough to be her grandad.
