Not that having a foreign name doesn't mean your family hasn't been here for a good few generations, as examplified by our Royal family, but in this case you are right.

Here's young Grzegorz Suliga at home in Poland, before moving to Blackburn.

Google Translate

I wonder what attracted him to Britain?

Our generous welfare and social benefits system?

Or just wanting to get his oats in some far distant foreign field?

I find the common assumption that Eastern Europeans in this country are only here to take advantage of our welfare system quite distasteful. Of course I can't speak for this particular individual but next door to us live two Polish families who are very hard working and some of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. I would far rather have them as neighbours than some of the home grown low lifes from further down the street.

You can defend why a Polish pervert moved here.

I won't.

I asked an open question.

I have nothing against any legal foreign nationals in this country.

Though I question the sense of successive governments striving for a borders free European Union.

I'd deport the degenerate scum.

I'd rather he wasn't here, in this part of Lancashire.

Perhaps you could give him a home in Morecambe.

Well dream on, in your distaste.

In reality, as well as higher wages, the welfare/social benefit system in place in this country, are an added incentive to relocate to Britain.

I don't blame them.

I blame successive British governments.

'Poland’s welfare spending is lower than in any other EU member state, lagging behind comparatively poorer nations like Romania and Bulgaria, reports Dziennik. According to a recent report by Eurostat, Poland spends a paltry 0.8 percent of GDP on welfare and family benefits, around a third of the EU average.'

Poland's welfare in a state | Presseurop (English)

I blame our government/s.

Not the people here legally, thanks to the European Union.

I'm sure if I was Polish, I'd consider leaving.

Anywhere must be better than life in Ujezdziec, where this pervert's from.

Well almost anywhere.

I couldn't live in Morecambe.

There's always the exception to the rule.

I have no problem foreign nationals getting benefits in this country, but at the same rate they would get back in their homeland, think you would see a huge drop in tourist if that was the case

Oh I know there's some attraction for you elderly folks living there.

My grandparents explained them to me, shortly before they moved there in 1972.

Not the way i read it, Yours refers to what Foreign Nationals should get back in Homeland.:p Plus in certain E.U. countries Health benefits are only given out corresponding to what they have paid into the system.

Stop, stop.

Anymore of this questioning the free entry of European nationals to Britain will cause some sensitive souls the same distaste that Gordon Brown probably felt, when questioned by Gillian Duffy about immigration, shortly before the last General Election.

Soon there'll be accusations of racism, and bigotry flying about.

Rather than what's really at the crux of this issue, government policy.
