Could it be we were getting close to the truth about the forces at work along the canal, this move came as soon as we discussed geese and penguins, and advancing on Church.

The indiscriminate discharging of firearms sounds a little too American ... and, from what I remember, the good folks of Hyndburn are not the gun toting type. Just in case, it might be worthwhile checking to see if fire extinguishers are in season. Bag limit is not an issue, as there seems to be only one of them. It might also be worthwhile checking, Councillor Moss could help out here, to see if one needs a licence. I could be persuaded to drop over with my Wingmaster, and blow the sucker out of the water ... as long as I'm sure that all is above board. If there is any collateral damage ... as in ducks getting blown away ... it would help if someone with taste selects an appropriate wine with which to wash down said collateral damage.

I think the game is up, the extinguisher has moved further toward Church, but it must know it is under observation as it has adopted a disguise and because of this I nearly walked past it today, But I have something more important to report, what we have been watching has just been a distraction.
