There is a great deal we owe to the Penguin, for example making books available to the masses by putting them in paperback.

What is a penguin?
It's just a duck in a dinner jacket.
So a careful eye should be kept on their tailors, obviously some form of fifth column collaborators.

In Clayton:confused: I remember that there used to be a decent tailor up by the Load, but the place is probably long gone. I'm Clayton to the core (with a bunch of Saskatchewan thrown in, and a few pints of Lake Ontario), yet I readily admit that Clayton ain't the fashion centre of the world.

I might be being a bit pickey here but they were geese not ducks, and as we know thats a whole new kettle of fish, or ducks, or geese.

Dark forces are at work here, we have been moved from General Chat to Anything goes.

This does not mean you can start swearing either, but we should ask why after 426 posts yes thats 426 posts have we been moved.

Could it be we were getting close to the truth about the forces at work along the canal, this move came as soon as we discussed geese and penguins, and advancing on Church.

The indiscriminate discharging of firearms sounds a little too American ... and, from what I remember, the good folks of Hyndburn are not the gun toting type. Just in case, it might be worthwhile checking to see if fire extinguishers are in season. Bag limit is not an issue, as there seems to be only one of them. It might also be worthwhile checking, Councillor Moss could help out here, to see if one needs a licence. I could be persuaded to drop over with my Wingmaster, and blow the sucker out of the water ... as long as I'm sure that all is above board. If there is any collateral damage ... as in ducks getting blown away ... it would help if someone with taste selects an appropriate wine with which to wash down said collateral damage.

This move to the other side of the canal came as soon as it was photographed in the presence of humans (Restless, I am saying nothing more, you can make your own jokes up here, I think hes ok.), it went out of reach and commenced its final approach on Church. Anything remotely 'conspiratorial' gets moved.

A conspiracy is only a theory (most of the time;)).

However, unless it is allowed to be discussed, facts to support it aren't likely to emerge.

Never send a dog to a duck fight. All you need is one of these:

Pump Action Shotgun - Model 870 Wingmaster - Remington Shotguns

I've been using one for over thirty years ... same gun. Best bang for the buck. The only dog that should be involved is a retreiver :D ... A couple of blasts will no doubt sink the fire extinguisher ... And then we can all sit down to a meal of collateral damage and chips:alright: By the way, is there anyone who can recommend a good wine?

Yeah I will just start blasting a Shotgun on the canal. ;) hell I wouldn't even know how to get one. I will just have to keep to using a pointed stick if they attack!

Never bring a pointed stick to a gunfight:eek: But not to worry, I have it from a usually unreliable source, that units of the Church fleet, led by the ironclad rubber dinghy, CS Unfathomable are preparing to leave port:alright:

Sheer and utter propaganda, I don't know who told you this but they are deliberatly trying to mislead you, I have heard of someone from Church leaving their milk, I have even heard of a Churchman that left half a pint after A 6 day drinking spree, but no-one not even a Methodist from Church would leave his fortified wine!

It's a form of Latin used by the monks of St. Poutine in their monastery in Tuktoyaktuk.

How delicately put, good sir. Most would have said that folks from Church were nothing more than a bunch of winos.:D

Check this out ... I've always been a fan of Bubba's poutine; but Smoke's is offering some great variations on this most wonderful fast food from la belle Province:

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that even though there isn't much more than a mouthful of meat on the ducks, there is def. enough to spread on a quacker.:hidewall:

I think the game is up, the extinguisher has moved further toward Church, but it must know it is under observation as it has adopted a disguise and because of this I nearly walked past it today, But I have something more important to report, what we have been watching has just been a distraction. I will explain soon, watch this space, but be very careful until I get back with my report

What a shame, we will probably never hear from him again, he should have told us what he knew while he had the chance, not even James Bond could fight his way out of this situation.
It won't be the ducks, the footballs or even the fire extinguisher people that will have silenced him, it will be the people that love conspiracy theories, they won't allow proof that it is all a load of bullshine to be shown to the people, they have a multi-billion industry to protect.

I can now reveal that the distraction was to take our attention off the real problem, it wasn't the extinguisher that we should have feared..............

I have found the mothership.........yes.......save yourselves..........its been here all the time we were tracking the canal movements........and all the time it was here infiltrating society. They are among us..wait there is a knock at the door..they are coming in.....what do you want...whats that in your hand...............nooo...............arghhhhhhhhh hhhhhh.

I think I might have overstated it a bit, lets be careful out there

I'm afraid it could be even more serious.. the "red thingy" may well have mutated having already infested Church with it's offspring, it could be heading to a place near you!.. we are doomed:eek:
