Various pics taken this morning .Pics 1 & 2 are two baby alpacas from the farm near us.Pics 3,4 & 5 are of the path improvements from Plation Cottage to Peel Park. Pics 6,7,8,9,& 10 are of a sparrow having a bath.

Lovely animals but don't they look weird with just a topknot left after having all that lovely fur shorn!

He has a lot of alpacas on the farm to keep the foxes away from his lambs

My thoughts too - oops! hope I didn't offend with my comment! One on its own would look nice. It was the whole scheme complete with carpet that took my breath away!

Today in Pictures, anticlockwise around Foxhill Bank, and a bit extra.

1. Down toward the stream.
2. Found it.
3. The water level is up a bit after the rain last night.
4. Along the top of the pond.
5. Then left up the other side.
6. A bracket fungi on the way up.
7. Along the rear of the playing field.
8. Found another young fungi.
9. Down the slope past the field.
10. Around the playing field on the other side of the road, and back to the car.

No Susie, you didn't offend at all, in fact I found it amusing! If I could master this posting photos business, I'd put one on so you could see how nice it looks in its more neutral setting in the bay window!)

I was on part of Dave Mac's territory this morning ,but only took three pics befor it started to rain.

Today in Pictures, a moist amble around Rhyddings Park.

1.Main Gate area.
2. Couldnt walk past a droplet.
3. Looking over to the play area.
4. Look at my hair in all this weather.
5. Built in 1914, for Will. I. Smith of Los Angeles in memory of his Mother and Father, now long forgotten, and slowly becoming less.
6. A folly I think, but dont know anything about it.
7. A felled tree becomes a thing of interest.
8. Me and my droplets, this time on a thing you shout in, and listen too.

I have never been in Rhyddings park. It looks to be a lovely place, and that slide is awesome.

We used to have a chicken like that brown one - it's a Polish bantam.
