After a quick inspection of my garden I had a look in Ozzy Mills.
Can anyone name the flowers for me, I just let my gardener get on with it.

By gum, times were hard when I was a lad.

The tin bath was a luxury, my dad use to tie a rope around our waist and drag us across the cut.

This link has a nice selection of photos: Trevi Fountain, Rome Pictures

Last time I was there I saw someone try to snatch a ladies handbag -she held on tight and in the end he gave up with a shrug and walked off into the crowd -no-one did anything to stop him!

Ta very much, we love Rome n the Trevi is me favourite place.:)

Today in Pictures, it's uphill all the way, until it was time to come back down.

1. Start of the climb, Hameldon Woods.
2. Its got a lot more lush since my last visit.
3. Up to the quarry.
4. Looking over the pond to Pendle Hill.
5. The green, the grey and the colourful.
6. Growing on a rocky road.
7. Looking in the direction of Burnley.
8. Heading back down.
9. Cotton grass covers the slopes.
10. Almost back to the car.

While I always like to look at the countryside photos and the pictures the more able bodied members post on here I am more inclined to use wheels to get around. I will leave the nature photography to those who enjoy it.
I passed my driving test in 1957 and seemed to have got out of the habit of walking far.
Anyway I like to take photos and post them on here so this is a light hearted look at my day in pictures up to now.

Get up (no photos of that) and then have shower and shave.
First brew of many, proper loose leaf monkey tea, followed by Allbran, I alternate daily between Allbran, Sugar Puffs and Weetabix. Ignore the name on the spoon, it was in 1976 when I forgot to return it to the counter at Birch Granada services.
Watch the news and weather on BBC TV.
See whats new on Accy Web.
Clean my shoes.
Wash up.
Make sure June's little love bird is clean and fed.
Prepare my clothes for the day ahead.

That's my allocation for today, hope you liked the change of subjects.

Now I am prepared for the rest of the day I will have to think of something to do with it.

I think you have demonstrated that you don't have to be halfway up a hill to post pictures, and the the title of the thread is "today in pictures" and it can be any type of "today" shot. So well done for including your start to the day. You could also include your end of the day photos, but no shots of your pyjamas please.

Don't worry about me posting pyjamas photos Dave.
They are one garment I don't possess.

Today in Pictures, a pleasant walk that bottom enders wont tell you about, so keep this to yourselves.

1. Start point, as far down Lower Barnes Street you can get.
2. River Hyndburn below the bridge, and the path to Gt. Harwood above it.
3. River Hyndburn as it heads for the bridge.
4. Walking on the river bed.
5. Wheres the weir,Oh it over theer.
6. This area is littered with the remains of long gone buildings.
7. Nature takes back what we removed in the first place.
8. I'm going as fast as I can, you have four, I only have two.
9. The path between Lower Barnes Street and the Hyndburn pub.
10. Once a busy thoroughfare, now a rarely walked path.
