Today in Pictures, "The Pines" was all I could manage today, so it was just in sight of Dean Clough Reservoir.

All shots are stunners - No.10 is my fave fungi shot so far. Thanks davemac! Why am I going to Jamaica when Lancashire has scenery like this?

Jamaica....I hope you will take your camera and snap away merrily, we could do with some warm shots. Just when I think the fungi season has past I find a few more to snap, but it wont last much longer the overall temperature is dropping.

Just shows you don't need to go far from home to get great shots...

I'd love to come back to Accy some day! It was my Mum's decision though. She was hankering for a palm tree. That's my story and I'm sticking to it :)

And gone to meet its maker - well that also rhymes with Jamaica...
Turtle why couldn't you go somewhere like Timbuktu, no rhymes for that - I think they have palm trees there too... It's on my bucket list.

Oh heck Susie, shut up and stop rambling...

by the way the sunflower is just waiting for me to pull it out and chuck it in my brown bin... its finally died off now .. so that's it now for this year .. even tho I do still have some roses coming out ..
