No. 3 is spooky! I love Beech trees - sadly we don't seem to have so many of them in my part of the world. |

I really liked Margarets sketchy pics, so wanted to see some of my pics given the same treatment.I can`t take any credit as I didn`t do the work myself but a nice effect I think.

The Beech trees around here are the trees that keep their leaves on the tree the longest, and as a result are brownest the longest. |

Photos Cape does it very well too, and in a wide variety of ways.
It gives me hours of pleasure. |

Today in Pictures, a mid morning walk on the banks of the River Calder. it was wet underfoot, drizzling, overcast, and cold............marvelouse
1. Under the bridge on Burnley Road. 2. Back under the bridge, its just around the bend. 3. St. James' Church from the river bank. 4. The open aspect makes the trees grow on a bit of a slant. 5. A stream meanders into the river. 6. Its had a harsh life. 7. This was on the footpath, at this point I was in Simonstone. 8. Overcast just doesn't describe it, I think its time for a cappuccino and a fig newton. 9. All this is required to boil the kettle. 10. Just going up the steps when I found this pipe that long ago ceased to function. |
