Thanks, its a long recovery period, he has to build up muscle around the operation site, but when he does that he should be almost like it never happened.

It's hard work trying to keep an active dog quiet. We know. When we thought Max had damaged his cruciate ligament he was on short lead walks for about three weeks.Doctors orders . Its marvelous what the vets can do. I wish I had private medical care like our pets do.

Its no stairs, slow everything, and ice packs, and when you turn your back for a second he is sat on the settee watching telly. Its a visit to the vet tomorrow so we should know what comes next, it could be physio or hydrotherapy. I know what you mean about speed of treatment, we had to wait two weeks for a slot for the operation, but he walked out the same day.

The moss or the wine:confused:

Funny you should mention that. Bottles of booze don't survive long at my place either ... whatever the season.;)

A walk along Bezza Lane, Balderstones early afternoon - lovely place and wonderful views -todays' good weather helped! Some nice wild/farm creatures around, spring flowers in abundance and beautiful Lankyshire countryside to compliment it all -what more can you ask for! :)
